Darcy finds his passion in helping people develop a deeper sense of self while creating meaningful relationships with others as they experience God through their growth process. By providing a warm, safe and supportive environment clients are invited to experience the depth of God’s grace as they examine the truth of their lives. Whether his clients are seeking healing from the past, help for the present or hope for the future, Darcy’s desire is to encourage, equip and empower clients to experience “life to the fullest.”
In his work with individuals, couples, teens and children he has addressed anxiety, depression, abuse, domestic violence, grief/loss, divorce, school concerns, career/life transitions. Darcy has also help families with parent-child relationships, martial conflicts, and has brought peace to blended families.

A SEASONED COUNSELOR
Darcy has served on staff at his local church for more then 24 years as Pastoral Counselor working with 100’s of individuals, couples, families, teens and children integrating Biblical truth with clinical experience. He has used his skills in assisting college students at Concordia University facing depression, substance abuse, sexual abuse and anxiety. Most recently his work has taken him to elementary school campuses where he has utilized play therapy and family systems theory to aid at risk children and their families working through domestic violence, grief, academic and family challenges.
COMMITTED TO MINISTRY
Darcy entered into full time ministry in 1985 where he served as Children’s Pastor. Ten years later the focus of his ministry expanded when he transitioned to Youth Pastor. He work with junior high and high school students for five year and then became the Associate Pastor of Pastoral Care and Small Groups. Most recently Darcy has lent his gift of leadership and teaching to the small church plant where he attends.

As a speaker, Darcy uses his humor, practical insight and clinical experience to communicate Biblical truth in a powerful and stimulating manner. Through his grace filled messages, listeners are encourage, equipped and empowered to experience life and God in fresh new ways.

COMMITTED TO FAMILY
The absolute joy of Darcy’s life has been being father to his 7 children and husband to his wife for 23 years. After her death Darcy was blessed to find love again and is enjoying being a “newlywed”. When he is not coaching soccer or assisting in his children’s classroom, Darcy and his family enjoy camping, water sports and the mountains.
